The East is truly a region of wilderness; Eastern Europe still hosts an abundance of wildlife and birds, part of which has sadly been lost in Western Europe. Travelling to Eastern Europe and beyond is like travelling through time. Eastern Bird Fair aims to help preserve this magical abundance of wildlife by helping to build a large community of birdwatchers and naturalists in the region who together can work to protect the unique wildlife of the area by advising decision makers who will also be invited to take part in the Eastern Birdfair.
For tour and accommodation providers from the East the Eastern Birdfair will establish an east to west platform to aid collaboration and to transfer expertise and know-how from western companies to eastern companies and to make connections between west and east business partners and private customers.
For western travelers Eastern Birdfair will connect individuals with bird guides and accommodation providers that are assessed for excellence and local expertise through an accreditation scheme and, most importantly, Eastern Bird Fair will create a place for local eastern European people to learn about birds and wildlife in the region.

Eastern Birdfair will help to build an ecotourism and conservation network for the East of Europe and beyond.
